recovering from the case of the mondays

and no my work isn't like 'office space'. anyways, i've realized that i need to get back to working out again...the hours that i sit at work aren't the best for me...maybe i'll start my early morning runs again, if it doesn't rain. Or maybe start my i'm 5' 6" don't want to be like the sprite commercial and actually dunk dream =D ...a lot of squats, vertical leaps, calf workouts, and some running in between

That's all for now. Now study if you have to, or get back to work like me. ;)

coming to you LIVE from work

This post is coming to you from my desk here at work; a semi-cubicle with blank walls that needs a dart board, a phone that no longer works, my cd-player, a scanner, and a lot of notes for code that I have written or need to write.

If you're wondering where work is it near the 241, lake forest area, close to the wal-mart (yeah a wal-mart). Anyway, Im looking forward to the weekend, I feel like I need a road trip, and maybe i'll drive.

To all the LOGers with finals good luck and nothing relieves stress like a game of hide and go seek in the middle of aldrich

Spirit Rally to DVD

Let me first say that everyone did a great job today. A lot of things happen during the preparation of this Rally. Many people's hidden talents were found, it was truely a bonding experience for us; gathering together for a common cause and belief that HIS sacrifice has brought new life. LOOK out for this year's rally skits to show up online soon.

inside a hallmark card

a cd
a potluck and a forgotten purse
a song, a really cold swing, and the moon
lasanga, a walk, and one question that became 3 years

if i had to define what love is...

It is in the moment when self becomes second; a new heart takes its place; and GOD opens that door that both hid inside.

a camera, photoshop, & keys

During work this week I had to bring my camera to take pictures of some items that my company wanted to promote. Anyway, I got bored and started to take pics of random things on my fairly empty desk. I don't know why I never really noticed that my actual intials are on the keyboard. So I took an "abstract" pic of the keys "C V B". Well the end result is now my header for my blog.

I think I might make more revisions or find an old school typewriter and use that.

Now take a picture it'll last longer

taking a break from reality

Despite the midterms, papers, & the "8 to 5" that would welcome us back, we took the adventure up the mountain. My weekend began with excitement of going, then disapointment of not, then excitement of going, eating at IHOP, meeting with reg on the hollywood walk of fame (really the PEP BOYS) and finally making the trek up that mountain.

To say the least the retreat was great, didn't miss out on making breakfast & finding out the we have a true chef in our group. Anyway, my part of the retreat, was fairly taxing. Didn't expect it to have that effect on me, but HE has a reason for everything.

I'm just glad to be used as HIS instrument, especially when I struggle to find time to do so.

There is a secret when playing car tag, get them when they park =D

music (part 2)

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is then I'm out of place
Lord, won't you give me strength to make it through somehow
I've never been more homesick than now

In Christ, there are no goodbye
And in Christ, there is no end
So I'll hold onto Jesus with all that I have
To see you again
To see you again

music

...I never told you, just how much I loved you,
If I did, I wouldn't know where to start,
I'd probably make things worse,
your heart should come first.
It's only time that'll tell my heart...

But when that time comes,
I will give you my love and my life,
And I promise your tears,
Will all disapear from your eyes,
Yes I'm here....

family

Post-Christmas Post

Yay for time with family, and some good food. With the new kiddos in the family its nice to see and hear presents being opened, for the older generation it more like envelopes and gift cards. Time goes by really fast. For me it has been a good year, of course the struggles were there, but I managed to get through them. As for new year's resolutions, let hope I can keep them. As for what they are, I haven't decided yet.

Happy Holidays, Happy New Year

I always thought it was interesting to see who visits the LOG website. A lot come for google searches, UCI catholic, Liwanag, etc. Some come from peoples blogs like this. For me realizing that people are always coming to the website, I always have to put something new.

I have a habit of making so many layouts, because I'm never satisfied with the end result. Sometimes I think I should have gone to an school that had a focus on web design. Since my resume reflects my hobby then my college major, that kind of thinking isn't random. But I think that my decisions have brought me to a place that I needed to be. Its not often that you find a group of friends that you consider as family...

Following sheep

So why the title....
This is my first post in blogger. I've gone so long without it seems foreign to me. I admit I read other people's blogs. It seems like everyone has an interesting story to tell or some inspired words of wisdom. Unlike me, who struggles to get his point across and merely confusing everyone around me.

"Following sheep", just a phrase for myself. Blogger, LiveJournal, etc. I think I owe to my bloggers who always have something to say . To add something to the conversation, to give something back.

As for the purpose for this blog, it can't be as cool as some with guessing games or analytical one-liners. It exists to speak when I can't.

*NOTE* This will not become an everyday or every week occurrence.
Now go and read a book
